I was just thinking about the race horses that I have loved and still do!

For me they are Australian raced and they would be Lonhro and Apache Cat.

Lonhro has to be my all time fave, I was a young teenager when he was racing, and I adored him.
Nothing can beat his 2004 Australia Cup Win!

I remember that day well, It was back in the day when they still ran the Aus cup on a weekday.
I begged and begged to stay home from school but was not allowed.
When I arrived home I saw the footage on the news and was amazed!
It still gives me chills this video and makes me proud of that horse.

As for Apache, who could forget that face! You could always pick him out of the field!
